1. 1. Call to Order – Pledge of Allegiance and 4-H Pledge – Attendance:  Rainie C., Jessica Q., Harley Q., Andrea R., Raylee J., Jennifer K., Cheryl F., Katie M., Krystal W.
   2. Welcome Visitors & Guests 
   3. Approval of previous minutes – Ranie made motion Raylee 2nd 
   4. Treasurer’s Report – Brittany & Harley $_0  expenses  $_  $6970.40 balance $100 donation q
   5. Extension Report  – Tracie was absent no report 
   6. Upcoming Dates: 

   Feb 7:  4-H Summer Camp Counselor Training, 9a-4p, Panhandle Lake 4-H Camp
   Feb 10: 4-H Fair Superintendent Soup Social & Meeting, 6:00 pm, WSU Extension ofc, Elma
   Feb 16: Grays Harbor County CLOSED in observance of Presidents Day

   1. General Council Report – They are gearing up for new year – making committees

      1. State Fair Decorations no change 
      2. Record Book Workshop Series – Recap & Plans Jessica wants to do public presentation workshop 
      3. Clinics/Workshops – Scheduling and Logistics Small equine April 28 or May 19 
      4. showmanship march 17, March 31 and April 14 
      5. Trail clinic at Ridge creek in Shelton May 23
      6. Arena Dates – Set & Confirm with GHC Fairgrounds Staff
      7. Budget/Fundraisers, Annual Financial Summary & Inventory  – Finalize Done
      8. Bank Signers – Update/Revise signers of Timberland Bank checking acct to include Harley Still needs done
      9. Safety Topics – Horses, Tack, Hot Weather Plans, etc. – Plan/Prepare Next month at mandatory Jessica will bring tack to show what is acceptable at fair. 
      10. Andrea will talk about hot weather plan and replacing things in the first aid box 

    

   1. New business 
      1. Anticipated changes to the State 4-H Fair exhibitor guide and the FairEntry hierarchy at the state level for the 2026 year & any relevant changes that need to be made at the local level – The 4-H State Fair Manager, Kellian, says, “We will be allowing the Small Equine members to choose which level of In Hand Dressage they would like to participate in. They will only be allowed to choose one level.” 
      2. March Mandatory Meeting Preparations – Andrea will update the list of tasks each club will do at fair. 
      3. Andrea will put together club packets 
      4. We will need to know how many horses each club will have 
      5. GHC Fair Planning & Preparations –  Schedule is already done
      6. A motion was made and passed for the horse council to purchase royal blue t shirts with the design that Harley credited motion passed 
      7. A link will go out to club leaders  in a email for shirt sizes need size by March meeting  

   Next Meetings Scheduled for March 2 (Mandatory), April 6 and May 4 at 6:30 pm
