Agricultural Resiliency and Climate Change

July 6, 2020 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Promo for Agricultural Resiliency and Climate Change discussion

Join the Whidbey Island Growers Association the first Monday of each month to learn and discuss issues of importance to Island County farmers. For July, the Snohomish Conservation District will share their Ag Resiliency Plan and Climate Impacts Assessment Tools, as well as the community process that created the plan. We will also hear from local farmers Jake Stewart of Sweetwater Farm and Eli Wheat of SkyRoot Farm and faculty in the Program on the Environment at the University of Washington with their thoughts for building agricultural resiliency on Whidbey farms.

If you’d like to learn more about Snohomish CD’s Ag Resiliency Plan ahead of the meeting, visit www.snohomishcd.org/ag-resilience.

Our meeting will be using Zoom. Join us at 6:30PM ahead of the presentation for a check-in on how everyone is doing! Here is how to join the conversation:
