Join us for the 2nd Annual TEEN ACTION FAIR, a youth-led celebration showcasing young leaders who are inspiring positive change. TEEN ACTION FAIR is a community celebration that is FREE and open to the public. Its focus is to highlight teens who are giving back and letting young people know ways that they can get involved with civic projects, volunteering, service learning and community organizing. You’ll learn what constitutes a high quality compost, how to make and apply it, as well as the lessons learned during WSU Extension’s extensive on-farm compost research trials. In addition, Oxbow Farm will share their experiences making and using compost along with a tour of the farm’s large, three-bin composting system.
