Teaching Young People About Gardening and Nature. Encourage children and youths to get outdoors and learn about gardening and nature during this time of social distancing with our free, educational activities. Explore.

Classes for the Home Gardener

2022 Bellevue Demo Garden Workshops – Saturdays, January through mid-October. Topics include new plants and methods as well as current science-based research and techniques for the Pacific Northwest gardener. Saturdays from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. via Zoom. Advance registration is required. Check the schedule and mark your calendar.
2022 Growing Groceries Classes – select Wednesdays, January through May. Class topics are ideal for beginning and intermediate gardeners and are appropriate to the time of year. Classes range from beginning a garden and soil basics to favorites like tomatoes and squash. Advance registration is required. See the complete schedule of classes.
