There will be two judging contests held. Youth enrolled in the Horse Project are required to participate in one county horse judging event to be eligible to compete at the Kittitas County Junior Horse Fair and complete the 4-H year.  For intermediate and senior members to be eligible to judge on the Kittitas County 4-H State Horse Judging team, they must judge in both county judging events completing oral reasons. All members are encouraged to participate in both contests. The 4-H Bread Baking Contest is scheduled for Saturday, April 13, in the Ellensburg High School Home Economics room. Set up is at 8:00 a.m. and baking begins at 8:30  The contest is open to junior, intermediate and senior members in the Foods & Nutrition project.  This contest is a qualifying event for State 4-H Fair in Puyallup in September.  Juniors may compete at State Fair with a quick bread entry (time limit of 2 hours).
