This 8-hour workshop is offered in Spanish and English and has been specially designed to train unlicensed pesticide handlers how to handle pesticides safely, legally and efficiently. However, it also provides an additional training opportunity for licensed individuals. The workshops provide practical, hands-on training. This training exceeds state and federal training requirements of the Worker Protection Standard (WPS). WPS Handler Training Verification Cards are issued. Six (6) credits are offered for licensed individuals. The cost of the training is $50 and includes lunch. The training will be held at WSU NWREC, 16650 S.R. 536, Mount Vernon from 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM.
