Crisis System Redesign Community Forum for Rural & Agricultural Communities (WA)

November 4, 2021 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

The State of Washington is currently working to redesign the crisis system throughout the
state and for the implementation of 988 – a national behavioral health crisis line to
connect individuals and families in crisis with the help and support they need.

Community Members who are interested in the needs of rural and agricultural communities are
invited to participate in a community forum to explore the needs of rural communities as the
crisis system is being redesigned.

Crisis service topics with an emphasis on rural
and agricultural community needs will include:
• Strengths, gaps, and opportunities of the
current crisis services
• Critical components of a crisis response
system in rural communities
• Critical linkages and practices to other
inter-dependent systems (e.g. 911)
• Other topics
