1095 Skagit: Child Nutrition Coalition

Our Vision

Every child in Skagit County is fully nourished, so they can grow and prosper.

The Mission

We support programs aimed at eliminating hunger in children living in the county by organizing, coordinating and sharing volunteers, resources and information.

1095 Skagit formed in 2010 in response to a call for action to reduce food insecurity and improve food access for all children in Skagit County. Our focus is on increasing awareness, advocacy, and networking to address gaps in food access for children and their families. Ad hoc committees collaborate, coordinate, and communicate innovative solutions so that every child in Skagit County is fully nourished, so they can grow and prosper.
