"straw bale garden"

Interested in gardening but don’t have access to productive soil?  Can’t kneel down in the garden as easily as you used to?  After reading Straw Bale Gardens, the 2013 book by Joel Karsten, Bruce and Diane Moriarty jumped into straw bale gardening.  They have had enormous success using this technique.  They can plant earlier, which means a longer growing season and more fresh vegetables to harvest.  You can read more about them at this link:  https://www.susansinthegarden.com/2014/09/sept-28-column-straw-bale-garden/.

This FREE class is brought to you by the Spokane County Master Gardeners and will be held Wednesday, April 17th from 6-8pm in the lower classrooms at the Spokane County Extension, North 222 Havana Spokane,WA
