Making healthy food choices is important for everyone, but for people with diabetes it is even more important. It may seem overwhelming, but it doesn’t need to be. Learn the basics for making food choices to control your diabetes. Find out how to make small changes around your regular food choices and recipes.

Eating Gluten-Free – What Does This Mean?

Many people have chosen to eat gluten-free because they have a gluten intolerance or wheat allergies or Celiac disease. Other people feel it is a healthier way to eat. This workshop will help you understand more about gluten, the reasons behind the gluten-free diet trends and how to support a gluten-free eating plan. Label reading and how to identify foods with gluten, tips for eating away from home and gluten free cooking will be included.
