Remote Deposit

WSU Extension locations now have the option to remote deposit checks! This new process would replace the need to take checks to the bank or mail them to Pullman for deposit.

  • WSU Treasury Services will ship a remote deposit scanner to your office
  • A Cashpro account will be set up for your office (this is the online system used to make deposits)
  • You’ll receive a user guide with all the information you will need to get started
  • Bank of America also has some on-demand getting started guides for remote deposit. There is some basic scanner functionality to learn as well as procedures for scanning, accessing reporting, and retaining records until checks have cleared.

No, there are no set up costs or fees to use remote deposit!

  1. Pull the Deposit Details by Account Report for your deposit in CashPro (this replaces the bank deposit receipt—this is the only change to the current process of sending your documentation to EBOT!)
  2. Complete the Cash Deposit Report (this form is currently used in the deposit process—this is where you provide a description of the deposited items and the Workday funding accounts you’d like the money to be deposited into)
  3. Email both the Deposit Details by Account Report AND Cash Deposit Report to EBOT
  4. EBOT will record the cash sale in Workday

If you are interested in remote deposit or have more questions, please reach out to Arthur Whitten, WSU Treasury Services Director. If you decide that remote deposit will work for your office, he will be able to get a remote deposit scanner shipped to your office, as well as get your office set up with the Cashpro software and user guides.
