Master Gardener Answer Plant Clinics

Since 1973, Master Gardeners have provided free access to unbiased research-based horticulture advice to help people find answers to their gardening questions. Clinics are located at farmers markets, hardware stores, nurseries, demonstration gardens and Extension offices throughout the state of Washington.

In our Answer Plant Clinics you can ask a Certified Pierce County Master Gardener your questions about gardening or environmental stewardship resources. You can reach us in our Tacoma Clinic office or out in the community at one of our many retail or event pop-up clinics. It is our mission as Master Gardeners to provide the public with information about horticulture, gardening practices to help solve plant and landscape problems, and sustainable landscape practices.

When you contact the Clinic Office please include photos if possible. If you are interested in submitting a sample, we recommend calling the Master Gardeners for specific instructions first. We may not know the answer, but we’ll help you find it!
