Join San Juan County WSU Extension for a Field Webinar Walk to learn more about our local research investigating methods for improving quality and productivity of island pastures and hay fields. County Extension Director, Brook Brouwer, will take you on a walk through photos and videos of the trials and share research results from projects including pasture aeration and overseeding, organic fertilizer application, and a new no-till seeding trial. We will be joined by project partners, Oak Knoll Farm, the SJI Conservation District, and Natural Plant Solutions to share their experiences with renovation strategies. There will be time for participants to exchange ideas and ask questions so bring your forage production troubles and solutions to share.
