State 4-H Still Life Exhibit Entry Info
If you are a Junior, Intermediate, or Senior 4-H member from Grays Harbor or Mason County who has already connected with your club leader and are interested in exhibiting your still life items at the State 4-H Fair, you have two options:
If you want to leave your still life items for transport to and from state fair, forms will need to be completed and returned to the WSU Extension office along with the entry by Wednesday August 25th @ 2:00 pm. Entry forms will be available at the WSU Extension office. When you fill out the form, don’t worry about division, class, lot, etc. We will fill that in before it is transported.
Also, all items other than photography, posters & educational displays, should be accompanied by a 3”x5” card which will be available at pick-up and at the WSU Extension office. For most items the card should tell us about the exhibit:
- What the item is,
- What the item will be used for,
- What techniques and materials were used in making it,
- What was learned in making the exhibit
For sewn items the card should also have the following information
- Age of the exhibitor;
- Number of years in project;
- Care instructions (if a separate care label is not permanently attached to the exhibit).
If you plan to take the entry yourself up to state fair, you will need to get entry forms from Extension office. When you take it up, you will also have to fill out a tag for the entry. ENTRY DATES:
MONDAY, AUGUST 30, 1 pm – 6 pm
Accept still life exhibits in 4-H Exhibit Building (Drive in at Service Gate on SW corner of fairgrounds – one hour limited parking on grounds)
TUESDAY, AUGUST 31, 9 am – 6 pm
Accept still life exhibits in 4-H Exhibit Building (Drive in at Service Gate on SW corner of fairgrounds – one hour limited parking on grounds)
