• Learn how to protect your data and computers.
• Discover new technology for your home and business.
• Take a “test drive” at the Wi-Fi gaget garage hosted by the Stevens County Rural Library District.

Keynote speaker, Paul Carugati, will present at 12:15 pm on the threat of social engineering, review real world examples of common cyber-attacks, and how next generation skills are necessary to defend corporate and personal assets in the digital world. This presentation will focus on empowering staff/self at all levels, since even the most advanced technologies can be compromised by a lack of cyber education. Paul stresses that end users can contribute to the prevention model and continual user awareness of modern cyber-attacks will prove to be the greatest weapon to mitigate enterprise security risk.

Paul Carugati is a seasoned IT and Information Security leader with over 15 years’ experience across multiple commercial industries. He currently serves as Director of Information Security (CISO) at Ecova, Inc., where he leads their global security program focusing on business enablement, threat intelligence, risk and incident management, and protection awareness. He is an in-demand speaker who holds many accreditation and industry certifications showcasing his technical and business prowess.
