Get Growing: Introduction to Vegetable Gardening Two Part Series

April 11 AND April 18, 2020 — YOU can grow the delicious, fresh, healthy, vegetables you’ve always wanted to! From seed to harvest, through hands-on, small group classes, participants will learn about soil preparation, crop selection, pest and disease management, irrigation, and more.

Emphasis is on organic methods and use of the Square Foot Garden technique.

The series includes two class sessions; an interactive classroom session and a fully hands-on greenhouse session, where participants will start their own cool weather crops.

Session 1: April 11, 2020 — 9 am to 2:30 pm Clark County Operations Center

Session 2: April 18, 2020 — 9 am to 2:30 pm 78th Street Heritage Farm

This class is geared for those with no or little experience gardening.
