Within Pacific Community Park lies a vignette of eight natural demonstration gardens bursting with color and teeming with life. They are designed to exhibit healthy and productive ecosystems that could be created at home while minimizing or completely avoiding the use of manmade pesticides. Open year-round during park hours.

Clark County has produced a great (see below) to inform the public about this wonderful resource. Take a look, then consider visiting the gardens at NE 18th St & 172nd Av in Vancouver, WA 98684. For more information about the gardens, their design, and their plants, visit the county’s plant library.
