“For 18 years, the Boys & Girls Club Summer Garden Program has introduced children to the wonders of growing our own food and the joy of being outside working in nature.”
Over the summer WSU Master Gardeners, including Pam Kirkaldie, led activities about the parts of plants we eat, bees, honey, and other garden wonders. The kids also participated in easy garden tasks and received healthy snacks.
