1st Saturday Workshops with Master Gardeners
September 3th – Plant Propagation (vegetative) & Division,
Time: 10:00 AM – Noon
Location: Master Gardener Demonstration Garden, Grays Harbor County Fairgrounds, Elma, WA
Fall is the perfect time to divide plants and to take cuttings to root, so you will have more of your favorites to set out next spring. This class will demonstrate the best methods. Mark Saturday, September 3, at 10:00 AM on your calendar and be a part of this entertaining chance to learn new gardening techniques. Plan to dress for the weather and for working in the garden and bring gardening gloves. Bring a bag for plants you may want to take home with you!
This two-hour class, which begins at 10:00 AM, is taught by Certified WSU Master Gardeners from Grays Harbor and Pacific Counties. There is no charge and no need to preregister. This class will be held at WSU Master Gardener Demonstration Garden located in the Grays Harbor County Fairgrounds, just beyond the pavilion.
After the workshop, visit the PLANT CLINIC to get your questions about plant problems, insects and other gardening topics answered. Carol Burich and team will be there to research any questions you might have. If you do have a plant question, please bring a sample of that plant with you, preferably in a sealed plastic bag.
Join the Master Gardeners for the first program of the Fall!
