4-H Year Pin Request forms are now available for pick up at the Extension Office. Club Leaders complete and turn in the form, which is due to the Extension Office no later than 5pm Monday, October 10th or the GH 4-H Council meeting held at the Forestry Building in Montesano at 6:30 that evening.  Forms are also available at http://extension.wsu.edu/graysharbor/4-h/forms/ . Grays Harbor County 4-H Member of the Year Nominations can be submitted any time before October 15th. With so many deserving members that make a difference every day who will you nominate? One boy and one girl in each age group will be selected as “4-H Member of the Year” for Grays Harbor County. The recipients will receive a certificate and cash award. Individuals may be selected one time per age group. Their names will also be engraved on plaques…

Application forms and more specific information are available under “2015 GH 4-H Council Awards Guideline” at http://extension.wsu.edu/graysharbor/4-h/forms/ or at the Extension Office.  Applications are due October 15th. Grays Harbor County 4-H clubs can be recognized in the following categories: Publicity Membership Building Community Service Achievement Additional recognition is available for 4-H Club Secretaries who complete and turn in the 4-H Secretary Book as well as 4-H Club Treasurers who complete and turn in the 4-H Treasurers Book.  

All 4-H volunteers, members, and parents are invited to attend and be involved by sharing insights and perspectives. > These meetings will be held on the second Monday in the following months: October, December, February, April and June. > Council meetings will also be held on the fourth Monday during the months of July and August. > The annual meeting shall be held in October to elect offices and representatives for the following year.
