Washington State University Extension is offering the national Diabetes Prevention Program, a life style change program designed to help you and others in our community lose weight and reduce your risk of Type 2 diabetes. It is effective in helping people lose a modest amount of weight and increase physical activity needed to delay diabetes. Sourdough ClassAre you one of those that loves that distinct taste of baked goods that only comes from a good sourdough? Come and learn how to develop your own starter. Then, once you have the starter, how to care for it, and finally, and most importantly, how to bake with it. Pre-registration is appreciated but not required.
