Have you thought about starting a small farming operation? Do you currently farm but are seeking alternative crop options this year? Wouldn’t it be great to grow a crop or raise livestock with a buyer already lined up before the season even starts? This is the concept behind satellite farming.

One of the largest challenges facing small farm operations is investing in a product that may or may not have a market.  At the same time, another challenge Stevens County faces is buyers looking for locally sourced product and not being able to find it.
