Garden-Grown Hops for Homebrewing

You can grow hops in your own backyard! An easy to grow perennial, hops are used in home brewing beer or as an attractive decorative addition to your garden landscape. In this introductory workshop, you’ll learn about site selection, how to start
and care for the plants, and how to harvest and use them.
Join Greg Joyce of Homebrew Exchange, for a workshop on getting started growing hops in your backyard. Saturday, March 12 from 10am to 12:30 pm at the Pacific Park Natural Demonstration Site in East Vancouver.

Bring a lawn chair and your work clothes. We’ll do some maintenance in the demo garden after the workshop.
