Part 2: System Components and Uses – Thursday, August 20, 6:30-8:30
Harvesting rainwater is a great way to keep a source of water during the dry season, but it’s also a good way to manage stormwater. This workshop will cover the basics of planning a system, essential system components, and various uses for the your harvested rainwater. Clair Klock, Clackamas Soil & Water Conservation District Senior Resource Conservationist and former ARCSA (American Rainwater Catchment Systems Association) board member, and Tim Pope, current ARCSA board member will instruct participants and answer questions.
This workshop is put on by the Small Acreage Program which is made possible by joint sponsorship from WSU Clark County Extension and Clark County Environmental Services Clean Water Program.
