This free workshop provides an overview of the Value Added Producer Grant (VAPG) program. VAPGs may be used for feasibility studies or business plans, working capital, marketing value added agricultural products, and for farm-based renewable energy projects.

Discussions will include eligibility, application process, application scoring, and indepth application assistance for those intending to apply.

The VAPG program provides opportunities to beginning and socially disadvantaged farmers. It also assists independent producers, farmer and rancher cooperatives, agricultural producer groups, and will support local and regional supply networks.
