Kitsap Harvest’s New Warehouse Cleaning

We need your elbow grease… We have been generously donated a warehouse space for the collection and distribution of community food, but there is a lot of cleaning, scrubbing, and grounds maintenance to do. We know with some team spirit we will transform a drab shipping warehouse into a fresh food hub of activity. Join us in making the dream a reality, and in doing so, we will better connect food to those in need within the community.
We need folks with a good pair of gloves and any of the following:
- weed eater
- rake
- pruning shears
- broom
- mop and bucket
- paint brush and tray
We will have an additional weed eater, mower, cleaning rags, cleaning solution, mop bucket, and garbage bags. Dress for mess.
Please indicate what you’re able to provide when you sign up.
It’s not glamorous, but you’ll feel good doing it. We’ll see you Friday!
*Please note that it will be an extra warm day. Bring appropriate clothing, water, and protection.
