Using PNW Native Plants in the Home Garden

This one-day class will cover some of the plants native to Pacific Northwest forests, prairies and coastal areas. We will discuss nomenclature and identification of plant families common to the area; as well as choosing and maintaining the plants in home gardens.
Class will be held in the Council Chambers at the Norm Dicks Government Center in Bremerton. 2-3 hour street parking is available, and there are pay lots nearby. Class will be structured to allow time to move cars for those parking on the street.
Check in and registration will begin at 9:00 AM. Introductions will begin promptly at 9:45.
We will have a 1/2 hour lunch break. We will provide some snacks and drinks, but please bring a sack lunch as there are limited places to order and pick up in 30 minutes.
