If so, this is an opportunity to engage with WSUE Meat Science experts during an interactive butchery session and discussions about consumer trends, production efficiencies, product quality, customer communications, value added, and pricing.”

 

Morning Session

• Interactive butchery demo high-lighting consumer trends in the WA Meat Up Mobile Butchery Truck!

• Discussion: how do you improve efficiency to increase profitability

• Discussion: what are consumer preferences and why it matters

 

Afternoon Session

• WSDA Grant & Assistance Opportunities, & Regulatory Q&A

• Discussion: How do you communicate with and keep customers

• Discussion: What affects meat quality, yield, and value

• Discussion: Does your price reflect your full cost of processing
