The Strengthening Families Program for Parents and Youth 10-14 Years is a nationally recognized curriculum that provides parent, youth and family education. The model is designed to be delivered in local communities for groups of 7-12 families. Educational programs that bring parents and their children together in learning environments strengthen entire families.

Details:

  • Families attend orientation night
  • Classes run for seven weeks
  • Parents and youth attend together
  • Dinner is served each week
  • Child care is provided
  • Classes are free of charge

Kitsap Community Resource’s Parenting Place is a program offering a full spectrum of services designed to build strong families in Kitsap County. Classes for parents and children build on existing strengths using the Developmental Assets Model. Website
