Kitsap County Junior Livestock Auction (Market Committee)
Market Commitee Meetings are held at 7 PM on the 2nd Monday of the month at the Eagles Nest at the Fairgrounds unless otherwise announced.
December | 1st | Market goats born on or after date. |
January | 1st | Steer exhibitors must have their steers in their possession, date TBD for tagging of steers. |
1st | Lambs born on or after date. | |
February | 1st | Pigs born on or after date. |
25th | Earliest Geese possession date, 12lb minimum, 4-6 months old at sale date. | |
21st | Turkeys born on or after this date. Turkey 20lb minimum tom and 13lb minimum hen, no older than 16-18 weeks at auction date. | |
May | 1st | Deadline for ownership and possession of goats.
Ownership and Possession of rabbit production doe(s). Must have ear tattoo, breed information and or pedigree.

10th | Ice Cream Social (Mandatory for all participants) @ Fairgrounds Presidents Hall. Registration begins at 6:30p | |
June | 1st Sat | Tagging of the swine, lambs and goats (Swine Barn – Fairgrounds) |
25th | Ducks and Broiler Chickens possession date | |
July | 1st | All camping forms are due to the Parks Office. |
15th | Livestock entries due. 4-H submit to 4-H office, FFA submit to FFA advisors, Open Class submit to Fair Office | |
August | 1st Sat | Fairgrounds Super Saturday. Turn in auction raffle tickets. Pick-up scholarship applications |
20th | Haul in starts at 8 am. Weigh in of market animals is from 6-7 pm.

25th | Annual meeting and election of officers (FFA Office on Fairgrounds at 1 p.m. |
