The WSU “Facilitate the Awesome” workshop is designed to prepare adults to successfully guide teen-led projects. Open to any adult working with a group of teens.
This half-day session includes 4 modules:
- Adolescent Development: implications of current research
- Empowering Teens: motivating teens with positive youth development models
- Key Elements of Teen Programming: how to support strengths-based programming
- Creating Safe & Inclusive Programs: decision-making & risk management
This training includes experiential activities for different learning styles and group discussion about building life skills and leadership in teens.
