4-H teens have fun socializing, increasing their leadership skills, improving communication, preparing for college and/or a job and meeting new people all year long. Beyond Club mentorship and service-learning opportunities, teens have ample opportunities to develop their leadership skills through:
- Know Your Government (KYG)
- Teen Conference, Pullman, WA in June
- Teen Counselor at 4-H Residence Camp – Kitsap County in July.
- State Fair, Puyallup in September
- National events like National Congress (MD) or National Conference (GA)
- Washington Citizenship Focus
- National and International Exchange Programs
