Attracting and Keeping Native Mason Bees

Mason bees are a solitary native bee that is a much more efficient pollinator for fruit trees than a honeybee. And much easier to manage.

In this two-hour workshop, you will learn how to place your mason bee colony and then manage for their simple needs for housing, sunlight, water and winter care. This is a great project for families with kids as mason bees normally don’t sting so kids can get up close to them.
