Arts Projects
Family Living

- Members must be enrolled in Home Arts Projects (Foods, Clothing and Construction or Family Living projects by May 1st for 4-H Fair.
- Member enrolled in Home Arts/Family Living Projects can be in any age.
- Members enrolled in Food Preservation must be age 8 by October 1st.
- Food Preservation volunteers must be certified according to the WA State 4-H Contact the Extension office for information.
Awards
Specific Project Area Awards for these projects are the Alta Hoy Trophy and Elm Plaque.
- Qualifying members may participate in the 4-H Building at the Clallam County Fair and earn ribbons and Participation may include Record Books, Educational Posters & Displays, 4-H in Action, Demonstrations, Club Displays and/or booths, and project equipment.
- Members in Home Arts projects may enter as many exhibits in their project area as allowed in the specific class information listed in the Exhibitor.
- Members participating in Home Arts projects may participate in Foods or Clothing and Textile Activities (details in the Exhibitor guide).
- Members entering exhibits, activities or contests in the 4-H Building must participate in a minimum of 1 hour of herdsmanship duty to receive their fair exhibitor.
- Clallam County Fair
- Qualifying blue ribbon entries may be exhibited at the State 4-H Entry forms and tags will be available on Sunday of Fair at the 4-H building. If possible, exhibits may be transported via mail by Extension office staff. Contact the 4-H building superintendent for more information.
- Qualifying members may also participate in Foods or Clothing and Textile activities at the State.

Extension programs and employment are available to all without discrimination. Evidence of noncompliance may be reported through your local Extension office.
