Fair Signups for Both Fairs

NCW Fair

  • Get an Exhibitor Number – Exhibitor numbers are issued at the Fair Office in Waterville.  Check with your leader to see if he/she is purchasing the tickets or if you need to get your own. Use this number on both parts of your exhibit tags for each entry.  This is how your premium points will be calculated and paid to you!
  • Get a NCW Fair Premium Book – Available at the Fair, 4-H Office or local feed stores.  The Premium Book is your reference for everything that you need to know to exhibit at the fair.
  • Register Your animal projects by July 30 – The Pre-registration Cards are in the center of the NCW Fair Premium Book.  If you don’t get it to the fair by July 30, call the Fair office (745-8480, about how to proceed).
  • Fill out your exhibit tags – Use only the green 4-H exhibit tags that are available at the Fair Office or 4-H Office.  Refer to the Premium book and make sure that your exhibitor number is on both parts of the tag.
  • Bring your Exhibits to the Fair – Refer to the calendar in the Premium Book.  Animals enter through the SE gate, will be weighed and vet checked before admittance. Have your Quality Assurance Forms filled out and ready. All 4-H still-life exhibits may be taken to the 4-H/FFA Building.
  • There are two types of stall cards.  You will either have a breeding stall card or a market stall card on your stall.  These should be posted Wednesday evening.  If you have questions, please ask your superintendent.

Chelan County Fair

  • Get an Exhibitor Number – The Fair will mail out to all Club Leaders, a letter and form to order Exhibitor numbers for their club.  Please make sure that it is filled out and mailed back to the Fair Ofice along with funds to purchase the tickets.

  • Fill out your Exhibit Tags – Large animal entry worksheets will be filled out and turned in by your Club Leader, to the 4-H Office by August 15.  Everything else (including contests) needs to have a green exhibit tag that you can pick up from the 4-H Office.  Make sure that they are filled out completely including your exhibitor number on both parts of the tag.  Your exhibitor number is how your premium points will be calculated and paid to you.
  • Bring your Exhibits to the Fair – Refer to your Chelan County Fair Premium Book for details.  Livestock, noon to 9pm, will be weighed and vet checked prior to admission.  Have your Quality Assurance Forms filled out and ready to hand in as you come in.  Horses check in through the track gate.  All still life entries to the 4-H Exhibit Building 3-9pm with exhibit tags folded and attached.
    • There are two types of stall cards.  You will either have a breeding stall card or a market stall card on your stall.  These should be posted Wednesday evening.  If you have questions, please ask your superintendent.
