Growing a Native Pollinator Garden

September 6 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

free

In a 2017 study, they discovered that over 50% of native bees are in decline, with about a quarter in peril. One of the best ways to help these important pollinators is to grow a native pollinator garden. In this talk, we will discuss the use of geographic regions and plant communities to help choose plants for a native garden. We will then discuss how you can easily turn this garden into a pollinator haven through the choice of keystone plants and simple changes in one’s gardening practice.
