Fundraising/Soliciting Support Guidelines
We strongly encourage members to solicit support from any legitimate source that is available to you. The process of asking for support and reporting back your progress, what you have learned in the project, is a powerful learning experience.
That said, the policy for Chelan-Douglas 4-H is the same as the national policy regarding tax free donations. Whether you sell at a fair or any other 4-H event, if the money ultimately ends up going to an individual member, then it is not tax deductible.
