Focus on Farming XIV: Ideas to Grow With

Register now for the 14th Annual Focus on Farming conference, Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds in Monroe! Throughout this year’s lineup you’ll find an exciting mix of topics, ideas, and speakers focused on helping expand the opportunities, sustainability, and economic viability of the region’s farms and forest lands. Check out the great sessions and speakers on deck in Aquaponics, Lean Farming, New Production Opportunities, Business of Farming, Soils, and Food Safety!

You’ll hear from two incredible keynote speakers joining us! Sustainable ag economist Dr. John Ikerd will inform and inspire us on The Status and Future of Local Foods while author Ben Hartman will show us how to use the Lean System to Earn a Comfortable Living on a Farm!

Top this off with a trade show including products ranging from tractors to greenhouses along with a gourmet luncheon prepared by area chefs from local farm-fresh ingredients and you have the makings for a great day full of networking and learning.
