Mission Statement
The mission of the Washington State 4-H County Ambassador Program is to assist middle school teens build and strengthen inter-personal and leadership skills, empowering their development into confident leaders and citizens, which will result in a stronger county 4-H program and local community. Students will actively partner with 4-H staff, volunteers, and other youth in order to improve and facilitate communication throughout their district, and organize district youth programs and 4-H youth development.
Vision Statement
To better prepare youth for the roles of active citizenship during their teen years and as adults.
Requirements
- Actively enrolled in 4-H for two years
- In a club leadership role for a minimum of one year
- A positive and active participant in county teen programs (where applicable)
- Involved in organizing community service projects at the club level
- Consistent in attendance and an active participant in club/project related activities and meetings
- Endorsed by club leader and county office
