Teen Leadership Summit

Purpose

The Teen Leadership Summit gives 6-10th graders the opportunity to develop leadership skills including goal setting, meeting facilitation, communication, planning and leading activities, youth/adult partnerships, cultural awareness, time management, and public speaking.

Schedule 2018 

Friday:

12:00pm-1:30pm – Registration Opens

1:30pm -3:30pm – Welcoming & Challenge

3:30pm-3:45pm – Transition to Workshop

3:45pm-5:15pm – Workshops (Leadership/Goal Setting)

5:15pm-6:45pm – Speaker and Dinner

6:45pm-7:00pm – Transition to T-Shirt Activity

7:00pm-8:00pm – T-Shirt Activity

8:00pm-10:30pm – Movie on the Big Screen/Fire and Marshmallow Roasting

10:30pm-11:00pm – Head to Cabins

11:00pm – Lights Out

 

Saturday:

8:00am-9:15am – Breakfast

9:15am-10:45am- Trust Walk

10:45am-11:00am – Transition to Workshops

11:00am-12:30pm – Workshops (Leadership/Goal Setting)

12:30pm-1:30pm – Lunch

1:30pm-2:45pm – Outdoor Challenge

2:45pm-3:00pm – Transition to Workshops

3:00pm-4:30pm – Youth/Adult Partnerships (Youth Session)

4:30pm-5:30pm – Games and Break

5:30pm-6:30pm – Dinner

6:30pm- 6:45pm –Transition to Workshop

6:45pm-8:15 – Youth/Adult Partnerships (Combined)

8:15pm-10:15pm – Night Time Activity

10:15pm-11:00pm – Head to Cabins

11:00 – Lights Out

 

Sunday:

8:00am-9:00am – Breakfast

9:00am-11:00am – Mini STEM Workshop/Finish T-Shirts

11:00am-12:00pm – Closing/Teen Opportunities

12:00pm – See you Next Year

Registration Dates:

March 16th – Registration Open ($125)
May 25th – Registration Closes
June 1st – Checks should be postmarked or collected by county extension office.
