2023 Forest Owner’s Field Day

In-person field days are back! The 2023 Western Washington Forest Owners’ Field day will feature different outdoor workshops specifically for people who own forested property. Learn about current forest health issues, drought and climate impacts, chainsaw safety and maintenance, fire risk reduction, wildlife, producing your own maple syrup, mushroom cultivation, and much more in an out-in-the-woods setting with local experts. Co-hosted by the University of Washington, this year’s Field Day will be held at UW’s Pack Forest in Eatonville Washington where participants will have the opportunity to see current research trials. The Field Day will also feature exhibits by agencies and organizations that assist owners of forested property.

The Field Day is an educational partnership between WSU Extension Forestry, the Washington Department of Natural Resources, and UW Pack Forest.
