Founded after the 2014 Oso Slide and located in Darrington, Glacier Peak Institute empowers youth to build resilient and sustainable rural communities and healthy ecosystems across the Glacier Peak region of Western Washington through innovative, action-based education programs integrating Science, Technology, recreation, Engineering, art, Mathematics, and skill-building (STrEaMs). We invite you to support marginalized youth and communities by sponsoring our upcoming hybrid fundraising event “An Evening UpSTrEaM” on May 11th.

Partnered with Washington State University 4H to hold our second annual Military Teen Adventure Camp for 140 youths

Provided a valuable paid workforce experience program for youth to gain trail work and forestry skills

Established a partnership with the Boys & Girls Club of Skagit County to bring outdoor education to new communities

2023’s fundraiser will be hybrid once again! We will have an in-person event that will also be broadcast as a live, online event.
We will have a silent auction that will open 2 weeks before the event.
