Quality Assurance planning meeting and learning workshop on the new Vet Feed Directive changes that will be taking place.  This regulation went into effect June 30, 2015, the first of these revised labels became available January 2016.  Transition will be in full effect January 2017 when all feed grade antibiotics will require a VFD.  All feed grade antibiotics will require a VFD before use in a livestock industry.  Also any antibiotics delivered via water supply will also need a VFD to purchase.  Come learn what will remain the same, and what will change.  A timeline from 2015 until now will be discussed as well. We will dive into the reasoning for this change, legislature and why we as producers need accurate records and a Vet Feed Directive.

We will also plan the year, workshops, farm tours and clinics at this month’s meeting.
