FreeJoin us for a FREE weekly online Sustainability Speaker Series, presented by WSU Snohomish County Extension – Sustainable Community Stewards, starting Wednesday, June 10th at 5 pm. This series will focus on environmental sustainability and social justice, reducing waste, sustainability plus the eco-economy.
June 10th – Sustainability 101 – Meaning, Measurement and Making Sense of It!

Topic: Many people talk about sustainability, but what does it mean, really? Can you measure it and if so, what would you measure? Exploring sustainability with lenses ranging from physics and chemistry to epidemiology and political science, this discussion will help you see deeper patterns in society and your own life. You will have a chance to apply what you learned, in collaboration with other participants, to develop insights on current issues in sustainability. Finally, we will close with what is on the horizon in sustainability.
