Sustainable Community Stewards Repair Cafe

Got broken stuff? Toss it? No way! Bring it to a WSU Repair Café!
Sustainable Community Steward Volunteers are offering our next Repair Café Saturday, October 1st, 2022 Bring your broken items from 10 am – 2pm to Willis D. Tucker Community Park at 6705 Puget Park Drive, Snohomish, WA 98296.
We will be completing simple repairs on-sight and assisting with more complex repairs off-sight. The off-sight repairs will be available for pick-up on October 14th at Willis D. Tucker Community Park at the entrance of the Snohomish County Parks and Recreation offices.
Accepted items include: Clocks, jewelry, vacuums, small appliances, home décor, lamps, and some electronics. Limited textile, leather and clothing repairs are available as well. If you can carry it, we’ll try to repair it! If you do bring large items to repair we will be providing a few wagons to help move items from the parking lot to the amphitheater. There is a cement path part way to the amphitheater and the rest of the walk is across a grass lawn.
Bicycle repair: please plan on bringing your bike to Willis D. Tucker Community Park for simple repairs. Simple repairs include: fixing a flat tire, brake adjustment, gear adjustment and chain cleaning. Volunteers from Sharing Wheels Will be there to assist you.
Please note: We are unable to fund the cost of any additional parts needed. If a part is needed to be purchased to make the repair, our volunteer will contact you to discuss before parts are ordered. Repairs are not guaranteed and we cannot be held responsible for any damage made in attempt to repair items.
Steps To Participate:
- Arrive at Willis D. Tucker Park on October 1st, 2022, between 10am-2pm.
- Repair Specialists will be on-site to help with your item, and will work with you on repairing your item.
