Beach Watcher Training Begins
Become a Snohomish County WSU Beach Watcher or Beach Naturalist! WSU Beach Watchers are volunteers dedicated to protecting the Salish Sea and Puget Sound through education, research and stewardship. In the Beach Watch training, you receive 80 hours of university-caliber instruction through presentations, field trips and hands-on practice. Beach Watchers Starlight Beach Walk
Snohomish County residents interested in learning about low tide beach activity under the stars can join in on the annual Starlight Beach Walk, Wednesday, January 18th, in Edmonds. Attendees will explore the beach as the tide goes out and learn about marine life with Snohomish County WSU Beach Watchers. Those attending are encouraged to bring a flashlight and dress for the weather for this family friendly event.

Beach Naturalist Training
Become a Snohomish County WSU Extension Beach Naturalist! The WSU Beach Naturalists Program provides Snohomish County residents with the opportunity to turn environmental knowledge into action.
