Reinvigorate your garden and refresh your planting strategies this spring with environmentally-friendly gardening guru Ciscoe Morris. New Ideas in Gardening will take place at 6:30pm on Saturday, April 2, at the Port Angeles Main Library. This free after-hours program will highlight new ideas and old wisdom for keeping your plants healthy and attractive. Morris will discuss which perennials to cut back and divide, methods for pest control, pruning strategies, when and how to fertilize plants, and much more. See which garden tools Morris relies on and try to win one of several door prizes by answering one of his tough “Ciscoe stumpers” (he only allows two attempts at true-or-false questions).

Morris will also be on-hand at the conclusion of his talk to answer gardening questions and sign copies of his book, Ask Ciscoe, Oh, la, la! Your Gardening Questions Answered. Books will be available for purchase beginning at 6pm, courtesy of Odyssey Bookshop.
