Join us for a gleaning year end celebration on Wednesday, January 27th from 5:30-7 pm at the Clallam County Courthouse Commissioner’s Meeting Room. Enter in the after hours door off 4th St. behind the bus stop.

Food and drink provided; feel free to bring items to share (gleaned goodies especially welcome!)

Meet other gleaners and our new full time 2016 AmeriCorps Gleaning Coordinator, share ideas and feedback for building the capacity and effectiveness of gleaning and other sustainable food systems activities in 2016!  Brand new and seasoned gleaners are all welcome!  Please rsvp to muecker@co.clallam.wa.us or 360-417-2279 to help with a head count.

Our amazing gleaning volunteers delivered 23,018 lbs. of produce for the Sequim and Port Angeles Food Banks alone in 2015. Thousands of lbs. fed community members at Boys and Girls’ Clubs, senior centers, Salvation Army and gleaning friends and family. We are thrilled at the impact that Clallam farms, tree and garden owners, and volunteers are making on sustainable food issues with these efforts!
