Preserving the Catch: Home Pressure Canning of Seafood

WSU Extension is hosting a FREE workshop on how to safely can seafood this Friday December 5th, 2-5 pm. Participants learn principles of food preservation, including a hands-on salmon canning demonstration. Jars, frozen salmon and recipes provided. Take home 2 jars of salmon, recipes and know-how!

Class will be held at First Step Family Support Center, 325 E 6th Street, Port Angeles and taught by Betsy Wharton, WSU Extension Food Preservation Advisor  & Proprietor of the Clallam Canning Company.

Spread the word to anyone you know who may enjoy this knowledge; a poster is attached to this email. Space is limited to 8. If someone is interested, please have them contact the WSU office at 360- 417-2279.
