Farm Glean
Our Farm Gleaning program distributes thousands of pounds of unharvested produce from local farms to food banks and other food access organizations in the region. Glean volunteers get a cut of the harvest, too! Food Access Coordinator Benji Astrachan leads weekly farm gleans. Exact day and time varies each week. The Peninsula Food Coalition is an informal group of local and statewide Food Access and Hunger relief organizations with the mission of recovering and distributing nutritious food to people in need across the North Olympic Peninsula. 2nd Saturday Garden Walk at 5th Street – July 13th, 2024
Starting April 13, 2024, and every second Saturday through September, Veteran Clallam County Master Gardeners will lead a fast-paced walk through the Port Angeles Fifth Street Community Garden to examine what is happening (or should be happening) in local vegetable gardens.
